An Accounting Firm in Crisis Is Rescued by RCS
WHO: A midsized accounting firm
PROBLEM: The firm’s network crashed during tax season and their existing technology consultants were unable to restore functionality for more than two weeks. If their systems could not be restored immediately, the results could be catastrophic for the firm.
SOLUTION: RCS was brought in and rapidly designed and implemented a temporary network, which was up and running within one day. The temporary system was able to support the firm through the end of tax season, at which time the firm was migrated to a proper, long-term system. In order to prevent crashes in the future, RCS formulated an ongoing maintenance plan for the firm which includes preventive care, planned upgrades, and a strategy for cost-effective equipment replacement.
RESULT: The firm was able to service all of its clients properly, meeting all IRS filing deadlines that season. They now have a stable computing environment and the firm’s partners enjoy peace of mind. |
